Steel Pipe Range

ANSI / API 5L These two grades specify the manufacture of two product grades (PSL1 and PSL2) of seamless and welded steel pipes for oil and gas transportation pipelines.

ERW Steel Tube Process

The steel ingot, billet, bloom, coil or plate used for manufacturing pipes by ERW process shall be manufactured by basic oxygen furnace, electric furnace or open hearth furnace combined with ladle refining process. For PSL2, the steel shall be killed and melted according to the fine grain process. The Steel Coil or plate used for PSL2 pipes shall not contain any repair welds.

API 5L high frequency pipe is a carbon steel pipe used for oil and gas transportation. ERW high frequency straight seam includes seamless and welded (ERW, SAW) pipes. Grades include API 5L B grade, X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, X65, X70, X80 PSL1 and PSL2 onshore, offshore and sour service. API 5L is the implementation standard for steel pipes in pipeline transportation systems and the specification for line pipes.
