With demand for the generation and transportation of electrical energy was increasing, one English scientist named Robert A. Hadfield began introduced various elements, creating several iron alloys, and observing the effects of alloying elements on its magnetic and electrical properties. Finally he confirmed that the addition of up to 6.5 wt% silicon yielded the best electrical and magnetic properties.

Cold rolled non grain oriented steel, we can also call it CRNGO steel. It is one kind of electrical silicon steel, the grain oriented electrical steel can be divided into two gardes:

• Semi-processed: it need a QDA treatment, and no organic coating, it is good for samll power transformer, samll rotors
• Fully-processed:  it has the magnetic fully develop through the mill, which helps it be a good choose for electrical system housing, transformer and motors

Cold rolled non gain oriented steel coil advantage:

1. High Permeability
Houming grain oriented electrical steel have high permeability which makes it has higher magnetic induction than the regular non-grain oriented electrical steels. They have excellent homogeneous magnetic properties in all directions.

2. Low Magnetostriction
Houming's grain oriented electrical steels have low magnetostriction or a low tendency to shrink or expand in magnetic fields.

3. High Electrical Resistivity
Houming's CRGO steel have reduced core loss through lowering the eddy or electric current component. As a result, the electrical resistance of non-grain
oriented electrical steel will increase accordingly.

4. Decreased Hysteresis Loss
Houming's CRGO have added hysteresis loss which indicates that less energy is wasted in the form of heat from alternating magnetizing force.

Non grain oriented electrical steel coil applicaion:
CRGO steel is ideal for various electrical applications where electromagnetic fields are important.

1. Air conditioner motors
Thanks to it's high mechanical resistance and low magnetic loss at high frequencies, it is good choose for compressors and air conditioner motors, which helps motors can operate in long time.

2. Induction motors

3. Power generators
