Wear Resistant Steel Plate
Wear-resistant steel composite plate is a kind of Steel Plate with relatively high wear resistance, and is a special steel material. At present, it is a kind of wear-resistant material with a large amount of usage, and has been applied to various fields such as loading machinery, mining machinery, construction machinery, engineering machinery, metallurgical machinery, etc. Wear-resistant steel plate can be processed, cut and sold, welded and punched. Wear-resistant steel plate is widely used in various occasions that need to withstand high-intensity wear and impact.

Imported wear-resistant plates and national standard NM500 wear-resistant steel are both heat-treated steel plates. When the wear-resistant steel plate is heated to a certain temperature, about 300 degrees or more, the hardness will drop rapidly. Therefore, when cutting, wear-resistant plates should be cut as cold as possible, otherwise the problem of hardness reduction will occur.
 
Common domestic wear-resistant plates are NM400, NM450, NM500, and imported ones are HB400, HB450, HB500, HB550, HB600 and various welded wear-resistant plates.
 
Most steel plates are now cut by plasma or other cutting methods. There are other cutting methods such as flame cutting. Flame cutting uses high-temperature oxygen to cut wear-resistant plates, so when using flame cutting, heat-affected zones will be generated on the wear-resistant plates. HB400 wear-resistant plates that are still using flame cutting are generally not required for high hardness at the cutting point, and the problem of hardness reduction can be ignored. Since flame cutting can cut along the same edge, it saves materials and has a relatively low cutting cost.
 
Wear-resistant steel plates (nm300 wear-resistant plate, nm400 wear-resistant plate, nm500 wear-resistant plate) are usually welded by flux-shielded arc welding and carbon dioxide gas shielded welding. This welding process can obtain satisfactory welding joints. Manual arc welding should use alkaline electrodes with low residual moisture. If necessary, the electrodes should be dried according to the manufacturer's requirements. When welding high-hardness steel plates, it is recommended to preheat the steel plates. The preheating temperature can consider the recommended value and understand the problems about wear-resistant steel plate welding.

(1) Engineering machinery: loaders, bulldozers, excavators bucket plates, side blades, bucket bottom plates, blades, rotary drilling rig drill rods, etc. can all be used for wear-resistant steel plates, but different parts require different wear-resistant steel performance and grades.
(2) Construction machinery: cement pusher tooth plates, concrete mixing plants, mixer linings, dust collector linings, brick making machine mold plates. Because these parts are more prone to wear, it is recommended to use wear-resistant steel plates with a material of NM360/400 and a thickness of 10-30mm.
(3) Loading machinery: unloading mill chain plates, hopper linings, grab blade plates, automatic dump truck dump trucks, and dump truck bodies. This requires wear-resistant steel plates with extremely high wear resistance and hardness. It is recommended to use wear-resistant steel plates with a material of NM500 or NM600 and a thickness of 25-45MM.
