* AR600 heat treated wear plate is ideal for severe wear applications where high wear resistance is required.

* Developed specifically for ballistic protection, AR 600 plate combines a high carbon content with a proven manganese, chromium/nickel chemistry to produce a steel that is 15 times more wear resistant than ordinary steel.

* AR 600 is heat treated to a Brinell hardness range of 570 to 640 with a typical Brinell hardness of 627.
