Welding of high-strength low-alloy steel plates
The steel plates need some preparation before welding. First, we need to thoroughly clean the surface and remove any contaminants that may affect the quality of welding, such as some oil, grease or rust.
The next step is about the processing technology of welding steel plates. Each grade of steel plates should use appropriate welding technology and parameters to ensure that the welding is firm and reliable. If necessary, it is recommended to preheat the steel to prevent cracking, especially in thicker parts.
Finally, the post-weld treatment of low-alloy plates. If necessary, post-weld heat treatment is performed to release residual stress and improve the mechanical properties of the welded joint.
Forming and bending of steel
The forming conditions required for steel require the use of appropriate tools and techniques to avoid cracking or damage to the steel during forming and bending. Pay attention to the bending radius to prevent excessive stress.
The temperature of the steel plate must be precisely controlled. In some special cases, it may be necessary to perform the forming operation at high temperature to reduce the risk of cracking and improve formability.
