In order to improve the performance of steel, one or more trace alloying elements can be added: Nb: 0.015%~0.060%, V: 0.02%~0.12%, Ti: 0.02%~0.10%, Alt≥0.020%. If the above elements are used in combination, at least one of the elements should be guaranteed to reach the lower limit of the above chemical composition.

Q460NH is weathering steel, which is what we often call atmospheric corrosion resistant steel. It is a low alloy steel series between ordinary steel and stainless steel. Weathering steel is made of ordinary Carbon steel with a small amount of corrosion resistant elements such as copper and nickel. It has the characteristics of high-quality steel such as toughness, plasticity, forming, welding, abrasion, high temperature, and fatigue resistance; its weather resistance is 2 to 8 times that of ordinary carbon steel, and its paintability is 1.5 to 10 times that of ordinary carbon steel. At the same time, it is rust-resistant, making components corrosion-resistant and life-extending, thinning and reducing consumption, saving labor and energy. Weathering steel is mainly used for steel structures such as railways, vehicles, bridges, towers, photovoltaics, and high-speed projects that are exposed to the atmosphere for a long time. It is used to manufacture containers, railway vehicles, oil derricks, port buildings, oil production platforms, and chemical and petroleum equipment containing hydrogen sulfide corrosive media and other structural parts.
