ASTM A871 Grade 60 steel plate

ASTM A871 steel is one kind of high strength low alloy steel but with atmospheric corrosion resistance, so we can also call it ASTM A817 Weather Resistant Steel Plate. There are two grade of it: A817 grade 60 and grade 65. So when refer to A871 Gr60, we always take it as Corten Steel Plate.

ASTM Grade 60 can be provided in the as-rolled, normalized, or quenched and tempered delivery condition as required to achieve the specified mechanical properties.
During thicknesses of 0.138 to 2 inches, widths of 48 to 120 inches, and lengths of 72 to 1020 inches. A817 grade 60 can be used for mill plate, temper leveled plate, and coil forms.
