Small Ukrainian home made of weathering steel

This three-storey weatherproof home features floor-to-roof windows and a large glass ceiling that opens to a tranquil natural landscape.

The professional design team incorporated the beautiful natural scenery into this weatherproof steel home with a spacious garden at the centre. As temperatures rise, ivy and wild grape vines slowly grow through the perforated mesh on the floor and walls, creating a natural shaded space.

In addition to the extensive use of steel and glass, the Corten Steel House also incorporates natural light as a special building material, allowing the sunlight to freely enter the house unobstructed, and allowing the spatial volume within the building to constantly change.

As the temperature rises, ivy and wild creepers slowly grow through the mesh holes drilled into the weathering steel floors and walls of the weathering steel building.

This house breaks the common sense of only one entrance and exit in traditional design, and sets up a total of five entrances and exits around the corten house. At the same time, the architect placed three asymmetric sculptures to enhance the personality of the project.
